Notable Nigerian Senator from Anambra South, and an All Progressives Congress (APC) faithful, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, has reportedly died.
The reports that surfaced early Saturday morning had revealed that the Senator died in a hotel in London, the United Kingdom.
Note that he had travelled to London two days ago.
The news of his passing was also confirmed on a group chat of senators who had begun to pour in their tributes and encomiums to their late colleague.
Few days before his passing, his campaign council donated a total of N71 million to the All Progressives Congress (APC) party in Anambra State, reinforcing the party’s presence and strength in the region.
The donation (including N50million from Senator Ubah himself) was part of his pledge to support the party and improve its effectiveness in the state.
At the time of filing this report at about 11:22 am (WAT) on Saturday, July 26, the Senate has yet to comment on Ubah’s passing.
More details to come later…
