The South Korean government has said it would look into extraditing the fugitive crypto entrepreneur, Do Kwon, after the Terraform, the founder had been arrested in Montenegro and accused of fraud by the United States.
Prosecutors had made this known to news reporters on Friday, March 24.
Kwon Do-hyung has been accused of fraud following his company’s dramatic collapse in 2022, wiping out at least $40 billion of investors’ money in the process and sending the market into a panic.
The South Korean authorities had today, confirmed that 31 yr old Kwon had been on the wanted list for violating the country’s capital markets act, reinstating that they would seek his extradition as soon as possible.
