“What would you do if you weren’t afraid?” – Steve Harvey
Media Mogul, Steve Harvey, was recently featured as the cover of the Paper Magazine. The comedian was dressed in vibrant coloured suits as he served the rich, vintage vibes. He was seen rocking Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and other fancy fashion brands.
When I think of a middle-aged black man, I think Steve Harvey. The thought of his shiny bald head, his not-so-dazzling smile, his legendary moustache and his infamous “Steve Harvey suit” paints a vivid picture on my mind. He just fits the status quo.
I just got the Steve Harvey suit”, my dad said as he stepped into the room humming, raising one leg after the other almost like he was tap dancing. He smiled so bright. I watched as the light hanging at the ceiling reflected on his shiny head. In that moment, I swore I was staring at a Steve Harvey doppelganger – minus the accent of course.
The Steve Harvey suit was a conundrum back in the days. Although it was out of trend, the suit was a suit of confidence! It was a style inspiration for some men – my dad included. I remember him coming home smiling after acing job interviews, he would say, “I looked so good, failure just didn’t fit the suit”.
The savage suit is a suit jacket with an oversized shapeless shoulder, and what makes it so different is that the suit jacket is a tad longer than the regular suit jacket with baggy pants. Asides from his hilarious comedy, his suit was another thing that got people talking. “
Welcome to Steve Harvey’s fashion show!
Harvey fans were treated to a nice surprise when he showed up in a different kind of suit. A coloured well-tailored suit! This was the beginning of a style revolution for Harvey and other men that got inspired by the new Harvey suit. In his recent interview with the paper magazine, Harvey revealed how his wife Marjorie Harvey inspired him to change his style and his wardrobe. She hired a stylist Elly Karamoh to help him out.
For his recent magazine feature, Harvey served a ready-for-business look with a custom-made Tom Ford Jacket, shirt, bowtie, pants and gloves in one of the photographs. In another look, Harvey was seen sitting cross – legged in an arm chair rocking a Bottega Veneta Overcoat, a Louis Vuitton Pants and a Yves Saint Laurent dark sunglass. What made this look so cool is how it served vintage and modern look at the same time. The cigar he was holding made him look like a drug lord about to have a bloody meeting!
He definitely killed it! What is your favorite look?
