Taylor Swift has made history as the first artist ever to simultaneously debut a film, an album, and a song at number one in the United States.
Her latest album, Life of a Showgirl, and its lead single, The Fate of Ophelia, claimed the top spots on the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 charts, respectively.
Adding to the milestone, her extended promotional film, Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl, also opened at number one at the U.S. box office this week.
Swift has further cemented her record-breaking career by becoming the first artist to hold all top ten positions on the Hot 100 chart on three separate occasions.
With Life of a Showgirl, she also set a new benchmark as the first solo artist in history to achieve 15 number-one albums on the Billboard 200. The album moved 4.002 million units in its first week, marking the largest debut-week album sales globally.
