A 16-year-old teenager, identified simply as Precious, has been apprehended for allegedly raping his brother’s wife and nine other females in Ondo town, Ondo State.
The Ondo State security outfit, that made the arrest had codenamed operation Amotekun. They had paraded the suspect together with other criminals in Akure, the state capital yesterday, November 11.
The state commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, during the parade, noted that the suspect raped the wife of his brother when he traveled outside the town.
According to the commander, Precious had walked into the bedroom of his brother and on seeing that his brother’s wife was naked and in deep sleep, he took advantage of her.
Precious had then allegedly threatened to kill the woman if she raised any alarm.
While speaking with News reporters, the suspect had admitted to committing the crime and raping nine other girls at Laosun, which was a farm settlement in Ondo West local government area.
The Amotekun Commander who confirmed the incident had said the suspect would soon be charged in court.
