The Dutchman arrived in 2022 and guided United to EFL Cup glory and a top-four finish in his debut season. His second campaign was far from as successful, albeit it finished on a high with victory in the FA Cup final against Manchester City. The 55-year-old will now take time to evaluate his options before potentially returning to management.
