The APC’s presidential candidate for the 2023 elections, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has on Thursday, November 24, described himself as ‘unbreakable’. This is coming after a lawsuit by the Federal High Court in Abuja, challenging his candidacy was dismissed
This lawsuit had been filed by the Action Peoples Party; APP.
However, the lawcourt on Wednesday, November 23 had nullified the charges on the case which had sought to nullify Tinubu’s candidature, after Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja had dismissed the case on Monday for insufficient diligent prosecution.
The plaintiffs, who had urged the court to direct INEC to revoke Tinubu’s nomination as the presidential candidate of the APC had alleged that the former governor of Lagos State gave false information to the INEC in his form EC9 by failing to include details of his primary and secondary education following Section 29 of the Electoral Act 2022 and Section 131 of the 1999 Federal Republic of Nigeria Constitution.
Meanwhile, Justice Emeka Nwite lauded the court’s final decision in a post where he described Tinubu, as an unbreakable man.
