President Bola Tinubu has warned that those who have been damaging the peace of Nigeria will be brought to book wherever they may be. Speaking through the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, at a security graduation ceremony in Abuja, Tinubu assured his administration’s commitment to the safety and security of the country.
He underlined that criminal acts staged in Nigeria and abroad would be pursued to bring criminals to account. It demonstrates a very strong stance on the part of the government for law and order.
The Director-General, Department of State Services, Adeọla Ajayi, who spoke at the event, said there was a need for collaboration among security agencies to confront the challenges. According to him, Nigeria’s security challenges could only be effectively addressed through teamwork. He expressed optimism that with improved coordination, Nigerians could soon enjoy greater peace and security.
