Media personality and TV host Toke Makinwa has reportedly gotten hitched to her long-time friend, Farouk Umar in a private ceremony in Lagos. The highly glamorous yet very intimate event has left fans and social media abuzz since the photos of the occasion hit the internet, showing how dashing the couple looked with their glitzy attires and in high spirits.

The 39-year-old Toke, who was once married to a fitness entrepreneur Maje Ayida back in 2014, parted ways in 2015 due to an extramarital affair. Sources close to the new couple claimed that it all started when she deeply fell in love with Farouk, who happened to be a close friend, and then they eventually got married. In the photos shared, Toke did wear a white gown, simple and yet elegant, while Farouk donned a very stylish traditional Agbada.

Neither of them have announced their marriage to the public, nevertheless, congratulations were already pouring in from fans and followers on social media. Many were happy with Toke, as she voiced her heartache previously but never lost faith in love.

The journey of heartbreak to finding love again has touched a chord with her followers, and now this marriage to Farouk is proof for them that love finds its way, and that it comes when it is least expected. Even though the confirmation from the two is still pending, social media is rejoicing.
