The cryptocurrency market has seen a notable upswing in memecoins, with Shiba Inu (SHIB) hitting an 8-month high. This rise has also led to big gains in other well-known memecoins like Dogecoin (DOGE) and Brett.
On Saturday, Shiba Inu’s price jumped to $0.00002969, its highest level since April 1. Even though the price has dropped a bit, SHIB is now trading at $0.00003064, which is a 13.3% increase over the past 24 hours.
Dogecoin, the biggest memecoin by market value, has also seen a significant rise. Its price is close to a one-week high, currently at $0.4298, with a 3% increase for the day. Last Saturday, DOGE reached a three-year high of $0.475.
Other meme coins, like Brett, have also seen big increases. Brett reached a record high price of $0.2032 on Saturday and is now trading at $0.2185, showing a 23.7% rise in the past day.
The recent jump in meme coins has led to huge gains, with some new meme coins making early supporters into millionaires. As the cryptocurrency market keeps changing, it’s not clear if this trend will continue.
