It is premiere season in Nollywood, and actress Toyin Abraham has finally joined the list of stars who will be unveiling new projects. On Sunday, 16 December, the film dynamo hosted a classy premiere for her latest film, titled Alakada: Bad And Boujee, which took place in Lagos.
It followed in the footsteps of other recent high-profile premieres, such as Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa and Mercy Aigbe’s Thin Line. The stars came out to support Toyin in style as Ini Edo, Femi Adebayo, IK Ogbonna, Muyiwa Ademola, Bimbo Ademoye, Kunle Remi, and Iyabo Ojo showed up in force.
Iyabo Ojo, despite Toyin’s earlier warning about outshining her, stole the show in her stunning black gown and dramatic hat as she arrived with elegance and poise. The event further cements Nollywood’s reputation for mixing talent, glamour, and creativity during its movie premieres.
