In Ondo State, young entrepreneurs are increasingly turning their culinary talents into thriving businesses, serving local communities with dishes that delight and satisfy. Among them is Toyin Deborah Folorunsho, the founder of Debby Craving Central, a food business offering a variety of meals ranging from noodles and smoky jollof rice to yams and egg, toast bread, and more.

Toyin started her business in 2024, motivated by a desire for financial independence. “I started my business in order to be financially independent,” she explained during an interview with our correspondent.

Over nearly two years, she has built a brand known for its delicious meals that keep customers coming back.

Debby Craving Central operates from Sijuade, Ondo State, where Toyin personally oversees the preparation of each meal, ensuring quality and consistency.

Her approach has helped the business quickly gain a loyal clientele. “What makes my business special is I make delicious meals, meals you’ll like and fall in love with,” she said. For her, the key is not just serving food but creating an experience that delights every customer who visits her shop.

Unlike many small business owners who face daily hurdles, Toyin said she has not encountered significant challenges in running her food venture. “I don’t really face any challenges in this business,” she noted, a reflection of her careful planning, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering consistently good meals.

She emphasized that success in business requires more than just hard work. “My advice for the upcoming ones is that they should be prayerful and just focus on their growth and plans,” she said. For Toyin, maintaining focus, trusting in her faith, and carefully executing her vision have been central to her progress.

Toyin’s meals range from hearty comfort foods to quick snacks, catering to a wide variety of tastes and preferences. From the smoky aroma of her jollof rice to the perfectly cooked noodles, every dish reflects her commitment to quality and flavor. By combining affordability with taste, Debby Craving Central has become a go-to spot for residents in Sijuade and surrounding areas.

Beyond the food itself, Toyin has cultivated a strong reputation for customer satisfaction. She takes pride in the repeat business she receives and the word-of-mouth referrals that have helped her grow without the need for extensive advertising. Customers can also follow her work on TikTok @DebbyToyin, where she shares meal preparations, menu updates, and special promotions.

As Debby Craving Central continues to grow, Toyin remains focused on the future. She hopes to expand her offerings and reach more customers in Ondo State while maintaining the quality and personal attention that have made her meals so popular.

Toyin Deborah Folorunsho’s story highlights how determination, passion, and faith can turn a simple food business into a thriving local enterprise. By focusing on quality, flavor, and customer satisfaction, she has shown that even in competitive markets, a small food venture can build a loyal following and achieve financial independence.
