As the summer transfer window heats up, the latest rumours and speculations are swirling around Europe’s top clubs.

Here’s a quick round-up of the most intriguing whispers:

Liverpool have joined the race to sign Crystal Palace’s dynamic winger Michael Olise. The Reds are looking to outmaneuver Chelsea and Manchester United to secure the Frenchman’s services, according to Football Transfers.

In a significant move, Lazio have initiated talks with Manchester United over a potential £30 million deal for striker Mason Greenwood, as reported by the Daily Mail. Greenwood, who has been seeking a fresh start, could find it in Italy’s Serie A.

Bayern Munich have set their sights on Paris Saint-Germain’s talented midfielder Xavi Simons as their top summer target. However, they have been cautioned that it will take a substantial offer close to €100 million (£84 million) to lure him away from the French giants, according to BILD.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have made a formal bid of around £13 million for Boca Juniors’ promising 19-year-old centre-back Aaron Anselmino, reports Uriel Iugt.

Manchester City are closely monitoring Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson amid uncertainties surrounding the future of their current No.1, Ederson, who is attracting interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, according to GIVEMESPORT.

In North London, Tottenham Hotspur have expressed their interest in Lille striker Jonathan David, a player also on Manchester United’s radar. Spurs are keen to bolster their attacking options and see David as a potential fit.

Arsenal have reignited their pursuit of Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes after facing frustrations in their attempts to sign Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi, as per Football Transfers. However, the Gunners are not willing to meet the £86 million release clause for Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, reports Football Insider.

Manchester United are preparing a €40 million (£34 million) bid for Barcelona defender Jules Kounde, although El Nacional suggests Barca will only part with the defender for €60 million (£51 million).

Real Madrid are close to finalizing a deal to sell defender Rafa Marin to Napoli while retaining a buy-back clause valued between €25 million and €70 million over time, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

Finally, West Ham United face a challenge to keep hold of Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus, who has attracted interest from Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad, as reported by ESPN.
