It is almost the end of the summer transfer window, and a lot of confirmed deals and dramatic turns have been the order of the day on Friday across Europe.

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson was practically already on his way to Bayern Munich on loan, but an injury to Liam Delap in the Blues’ victory over Fulham has meant that he has been brought back to Stamford Bridge at the last minute. On the other hand, Alejandro Garnacho was seen at Stamford Bridge and is expected to be the next Chelsea player after Manchester United agreed to his £40 million move.

What is more, Napoli are coming closer to picking up United’s forward Rasmus Hojlund who is having a hard time at the club with a loan deal that includes a €44m obligation to buy. Transfers out of Manchester have already been made public by the club, with Christopher Nkunku completing a €42m move to AC Milan and defender Nicolo Savona signing for Nottingham Forest for €15m.

Newcastle United has got the public attention with the club-record signing of German striker Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart for €85m. At the age of 22, the player comes as a substitute for Alexander Isak, who is on his way to Liverpool.

In the continent, Marseille let go of Azzedine Ounahi to Girona for €6m, and Rangers signed Bojan Miovski for £2.6m to strengthen their attack. Across the Channel, Stoke City signed Slovak midfielder Tomas Rigo for €4m.

Aside from this, Aston Villa are rumoured to be aiming for West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta and PSG’s Marco Asensio, although cash troubles might be a stumbling block for the talks. Further, AC Milan are considering snatching Liverpool’s defender Joe Gomez.

In the end, Galatasaray have come after Donnarumma, a Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper, and this transfer could be one of the most unexpected to the last days of the window.
Clubs are rushing to fulfill their squad requirements with only a few hours remaining before the deadline, and the excitement is merely starting.
