Manchester United have reportedly lifted their offer up to £65 million for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo according to David Ornstein. The previous offers of United were declined, but the Red Devils are still convinced that they will sign the Cameroon international before their pre-season trip.

On the other hand, Barcelona have made their signing of RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons more likely by doubling their efforts. The Spanish journalist Carlos Monfort writes that the sporting director Deco held a meeting with the representatives of Simons in order to discuss the possibilities of concluding the contract.

Inter Milan have not given up but are still working hard to get Atalanta’s star Ademola Lookman. Gianluca Di Marzio states that Inter have come to an agreement with the Nigerian player regarding the conditions of his contract and they plan to make an offer of more than €40 million for his services.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are aiming to get their hands on Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike, the two sides are close to reaching an agreement that would be worth more than €80 million.

Newcastle have now turned their attention to Brentford’s Yoane Wissa and this may have an influence on the availability of Mbeumo.

In the list of realized transfers are the names of RB Leipzig who have brought in Johan Bakayoko for €22 million from PSV and Bournemouth who have signed Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic for £25 million.

On the other hand, Kyle Walker-Peters, who plays for Southampton, has decided not to complete the transfer to Besiktas even though the clubs had reached an agreement.

Chelsea have their eyes on Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers, while Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho is said to be mainly interested in a transfer to a Premier League club, with Chelsea, Villa, and Spurs still keeping an eye on the situation.

Keep it here as the transfer merry-go-round is still turning and there will be more deals and drama in the near future.
