Manchester United have reportedly lifted their offer up to £65 million for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo according to David Ornstein. The previous offers of United were declined, but the Red Devils are still convinced that they will sign the Cameroon international before their pre-season trip.
On the other hand, Barcelona have made their signing of RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons more likely by doubling their efforts. The Spanish journalist Carlos Monfort writes that the sporting director Deco held a meeting with the representatives of Simons in order to discuss the possibilities of concluding the contract.
Inter Milan have not given up but are still working hard to get Atalanta’s star Ademola Lookman. Gianluca Di Marzio states that Inter have come to an agreement with the Nigerian player regarding the conditions of his contract and they plan to make an offer of more than €40 million for his services.
