Salernitana has confirmed that they’ve signed the Super Eagles defender, Troost Ekong, in a statement on their website on Tuesday.

A message about the Super Eagles vice-captain on the official website said, “US Salernitana 1919 communicates that it has reached an agreement with Watford FC for the temporary transfer with the right to buy the defender born in ’93 William Troost-Ekong.”
An excited Ekong who is happy to transfer from the English Division to the Italian Serie A also posted pictures of his unveiling on his Instagram page, he is to wear no 15 shirts.
William Troost Ekong is a professional soccer play, who plays for the Nigerian National team, and also the Italian top flight, Salernitana on a loan from Watford, he is the captain of the super eagles
William has expressed his excitement over the transfer, as in a post he promises to help them win titles
