Veteran juju artist Ebenezer Obey has refuted claims suggesting he had passed away or suffered a stroke, labeling the rumours as false and malicious.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Obey appeared cheerful alongside his two sons, singing and reassuring fans of his well-being. The post was captioned: “Stop the rumours!!!! Ebenezer Obey is alive and well.”
Obey explained that his visit to London was simply for personal care and criticized the spread of misleading reports, including altered images implying he had died.
He said, “Everything they have said is nothing but lies that came from the kingdom of darkness. I am alive, I am alive, says the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. I don’t have a stroke. I came to London to look after myself.”
False reports about the singer’s health have appeared before, including in 2020 and earlier this year, both of which he had refuted.
