Israel’s military force had on Saturday said that its forces have murdered two people in separate incidents in the occupied West Bank, after one penetrated an Israeli settlement and another shot at soldiers after his car blew up.
Israel’s ambulance service have announced that two men had gotten wounded by gunshots in the incidents. However, the ambulance had yet to identify them at press time and no Palestinian comment had been at this time.
The military had said in reference to an Israeli settlement that terrorists had attempted to run over a security guard at the entrance to the Karmei Tzur community a short while ago and infiltrated the community.
Soldiers who arrived at the scene killed one assailant who had opened fire at them and were searching for others, the military added.
In another reported incident, a car had caught fire and exploded in a gas station, prompting the military to send its forces to the scene to “shoot and eliminate the terrorist who exited the vehicle and tried to attack them.”
The military has said that it was too soon to know if the incidents were related.
Violence in the West Bank has been on the rise before the war in Gaza but it recently spiked with stepped-up Israeli military raids and settler and Palestinian street violence.
