The Indian Police on Wednesday arrested two Nigerians who poised as “Love spell
casters” and duped an Indian doctor of 6.6 million (Rs 12.5 lakh).

According to the Police’s statement, the innocent victim who was frustrated with her love life searched for a solution to her problem, she got the contact with fraudsters who lied that they were from Uganda and specialized in casting love spells. They gradually duped her of her money after citing various reasons.

She launched a complaint to the police, and the police swing into operation after
collecting evidence. The two fraudsters by the name Okwuchukwu and Obiwuru
Jonathan Uzaka, have been kept in judicial custody.

Reacting to the issue through a statement, the police said, “The complainant who was seeking a solution to her love life problems and professional success had searched online for “love spell caster” and got the phone number of the fraudsters, she told police in her complaint.

“Based on her complaint, the police registered a case and collected technical evidence.

A special team led by Inspector J Narender Goud rushed to Delhi, arrested the
accused, and brought them to Hyderabad on transit remand.

“The accused have been remanded in judicial custody,” the statement added.

Nigerians have soiled our name home and abroad that other countries are now weary of Nigerians.
