It has been all smiles for Nigerians and super Falconets as the Falconets won their match against France at the opener of the U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Henry Nwosu, an ex-super-eagles player, has advised the girls not to be overwhelmed by their win as there’s still a lot to achieve, there are still other match fixtures.
Super Falconets are to face South Korea on Sunday, Henry has advised them not to underrate any team but to prepare hard and to concentrate on their next match. He further commended them for starting the competition with a win as this will increase their level of momentum.
“It is a good start for the Super Falconet. Beating a team like France in the opening game will definitely boost the confidence of the players.
“However, I will appeal to them to maintain their cool and not be carried away by their win over France. They have placed themselves in a good position to qualify for the knockout stages.”
This might just be confidence Super Falcons need to prepare for the world cup games in 2023.
