American pop stars Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Demi Lovato have publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidential election.
This development is coming after President Joe Biden resigned as the Democratic Party’s candidate on Sunday after endorsed his vice Harris as the party’s new flag bearer.
While posting a picture of the President and his Vice via her Instagram story, Grande urged her followers to register to vote for the Democratic Party.
Cardi B also had a similar comparable response to the announcement, writing, “AHAHAHAHA LETS GOOOOO I TOLD YALLL KAMALA WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE 2024 candidate.”
“STOP F–KIN PLAYIN WITH ME !!!!!!!” She added.
Demi Lovato had equally taken to her official Instagram to share her response, highlighting Biden’s endorsement of Harris and encouraging positive action through the Democratic Party’s donation platform, declaring, “Let’s do this!!”
Since Biden’s resignation, Kamala Harris has gotten more than a quarter of the delegates needed to win the Democratic Presidential nomination so far, according to a report by The Hill.
Meanwhile, ex-President and Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, has bragged that Kamala Harris would be easier to defeat in the November poll than Biden.
Note that Biden’s choice to step down had stemmed from the intense pressure from both Democrats and the public, who raised doubts about his fitness for a second term as President.
