Controversial social media personality, Verydarkman, has sparked online reactions following his remarks about Benue State after a recent visit.
In a now-viral video, the activist criticized the state’s condition, saying, “Benue is still in the year 1940. It is the most underdeveloped state I have ever been to.”
He expressed deep concern over the region’s deteriorating infrastructure and security situation, stressing that such issues deter development and scare away potential investors.
“Investors can’t come because of bad roads and insecurity. I’m currently drilling a borehole in Yelwata, but the people can’t continue the work because they are afraid of being killed,” he added.
