Popular social media critic VeryDarkMan, also known as VDM, has responded to comments made by reality TV star Phyna, who recently described him as a “Very Dirty Boy” and accused him of playing a role in the breakdown of her relationship with actress Iyabo Ojo.
Phyna had claimed that her close association with VeryDarkMan contributed significantly to the rift between herself and Iyabo Ojo.
In a detailed public reaction, VeryDarkMan expressed disappointment over the allegation, insisting that his support for Phyna was genuine and never driven by selfish motives.
He explained that he consistently stood by the former reality show winner at different points in her career, including helping to promote her movies online and offering advice on both personal and professional matters.
According to him, he made himself readily available whenever Phyna reached out — whether she needed guidance, paid promotional assistance, or support with family-related issues — stressing that he often listened and offered help without expecting anything in return.
VDM questioned what he personally gained from the relationship, noting that his actions were rooted in loyalty and goodwill rather than personal benefit.
Reflecting on past issues, he suggested that certain decisions and what he described as greed eventually damaged their relationship, adding that several individuals who once supported and promoted Phyna have since distanced themselves as public interest in her declined.
Despite the exchange, VeryDarkMan said he holds no grudge against Phyna and ended his response on a conciliatory note, expressing his sincere wish for her success in her future endeavours.
