Nigeria’s Vice President, Kashim Shettima, is hopeful that the country’s economy will grow a lot by 2025. Speaking at a retreat for presidential aides and heads of units in his office. Shettima pointed out that the increase in oil production, now at 1.8 million barrels per day, is a good sign for the economy.

Shettima believes that the country’s economic growth is due to President Bola Tinubu’s plans and strong desire to improve the economy. Even though there are still some challenges, the Vice President believes Nigeria has made a big improvement and is ready for a lot more growth in the next year.

To achieve this goal, Shettima urged presidential aides and all Nigerians to support President Tinubu in fulfilling his mandate. He stressed the importance of working together, saying, “Our country is more important than any one of us. I urge you all to work as a team and like a family.”

Some important plans talked about during the meeting were:

  • Better Communication: Making sure everyone in the office and outside knows what’s happening.
  • Efficient Project Funding: Making the best use of money for projects and working well with partners.
  • Stronger Teamwork: Encouraging everyone in the office and with other government groups to work together.
  • Leveraging Expertise: Using the knowledge and skills of people to make things better.

Notable people, like Senator Hassan Hadejia, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, and Dr. Aliyu Moddibo Umar, attended the meeting.
