WAEC Releases 2025 WASSCE Results for School Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the results of the 2025 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

The release was confirmed on Monday via a statement shared on WAEC’s verified X (formerly Twitter) page.

“WAEC is pleased to inform candidates who sat WASSCE for School Candidates, 2025 that the result has officially been released today, Monday, August 4, 2025,” the council announced.

WAEC Releases 2025 WASSCE Results for School Candidates

Candidates who took part in the exam can now check their results online by visiting the WAEC result portal at www.waecdirect.org. To access their results, they’ll need to input their exam details and result checker PIN.

This year’s release comes after weeks of anticipation from students, parents, and schools nationwide.

According to WAEC, a total of 1,973,253 candidates from 23,554 approved secondary schools sat for the 2025 WASSCE across the country.
