Newly appointed manager Nuno Espirito Santo is a man in desperate need of more goals at West Ham United and the Hammers are reportedly scoping out a possible transfer of Real Madrid teenage forward Endrick from the Spanish capital to London.
The Hammers have gotten off to a tough start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, finding the back of the net only six times in seven games while leaking 16 goals, the highest, in the league. Nuno only has two teammates, Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers, to share the shame of scoring fewer goals. The Portuguese manager is now faced with the tough task of reinforcing his attack already in the winter transfer window.
The 19-year-old Endrick has not featured in Real Madrid games this season as per the new manager Xabi Alonso. The Spanish coach mentioned that the Brazilian was still recovering from a hamstring injury, but with the World Cup coming, the young player might decide to move out of his way to gain regular playing time.
In limited playing time Endrick managed seven goals last season, only 847 minutes of game time—a strike rate that has attracted several clubs interested in the player. West Ham consider the Brazilian a perfect fit and addition.
With Nuno being Portuguese and another Brazilian, Luis Guilherme, who could make the adaptation process smooth for him.Endrick would get loads of game time in the Premier League, first and foremost, if he were to move on a short-term loan to West Ham. The London club’s stay in the English top flight would also be greatly aided by his contributions.
