Popular socialite and nightclub owner, Okechukwu Pascal, widely known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has ignited social media controversy after he appeared to mock Grammy-winning singer Burna Boy while showering praise on Afrobeats star Davido.
The celebrity barman made the comments shortly after gracing Davido’s sold-out concert at the Uyo Stadium in Akwa Ibom State, where he was also given the opportunity to perform on stage.
Taking to Instagram to celebrate the moment, Cubana Chiefpriest thanked Davido for the gesture and hailed him as the true originator of Afrobeats.

“Chief Priest Don Do Stadium. Dem sabi my gbedu well well for Uyo. From today onwards, Akwa Ibom has my fat heart. @davido without you Afrobeats is a bastard. 001 for a reason, the Papa of Afrobeats,” he wrote.
His post quickly gained attention online, sparking mixed reactions among fans of both artists.
The situation escalated when a follower mentioned Burna Boy in the comment section, prompting a controversial reply from Chiefpriest.
Responding to the comment, he wrote: “The bingo go cry.”
The remark has since triggered a wave of online debates between supporters of both stars, with many interpreting the statement as a direct jab at Burna Boy.
