The BAFTA Awards which held on Sunday, February 18 may be well and truly dusted but the show-stopping pieces that graced the red carpet will live on in the hearts of fashion lovers everywhere.
The British Academy Film Awards a.k.a the BAFTA Film Awards is a yearly award show hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts to honour the best British and International contributions to film. This year’s edition makes it the 77th year since its inception in 1947.
While Cillian Murphy and Oppenheimer as a whole were smiling home with their awards, some other Hollywood A-list stars won the red carpet fun-fare and dazzled viewers and fashion pundits with their sense of style. However, certain pieces caught my eye and led to my writing this. Now, with no further delay, I bring to you, my favourite looks from the BAFTA red carpet:
Margot Robbie:

Our Barbie superstar has once more, proven that she cannot disappoint when it comes to showing out on the red carpet. The best actress nominee stayed true to her titular character in Barbie and donned on a black and pastel pink shimmer gown from Armani Privé, completed with full-length black gloves. She accessorised with a Lorraine Schwartz earring.
Ayo Edebiri:

The red carpet fashion ‘It girl’ gave off Hollywood ‘Marilyn Monroe’ glamour in a custom Bottega Veneta peach dress and feather shawl. The dress featured a plunging sweetheart neckline, halter straps, a fitted bodice, and a column skirt. Seems like opera gloves are all the rage this season because Adebiri wore a crisp white satin gloves, completing the whole affair with a lengthy, feathery creamy beige shawl. For accessories, she wore a Tiffany & Co diamond ring over her glove and bright blue stud earrings.
Florence Pugh:

Florence Pugh’s black-and-white corseted gown featuring a metallic bodice by Harris Reed was a showstopper. The actress then paired the gown with a velvet stole and a lengthy diamond necklace by Boucheron.
Taylor Russell:

Another red carpet slayer, Russell’s look to this year’s BAFTA red carpet was daring and one of my favourites. The actress went for a dramatic white feathered gown, featuring a high neckline and cut-out details that reveal her back and waist. She paired her getup with dramatic Tiffany & Co earrings.
Sophie Wilde:

Sophie Wilde stunned in a custom Loewe tight-fitting black sleeveless gown whose top appears to fall over her shoulders and she accessorised with Cartier jewellery.
Emma Stone:

The actress stepped out to the red carpet in a custom Louis Vuitton one-shouldered peach gown with huge puffy sleeve. She accessorised with LV’s high jewellery collection for her necklace, ring and earring.
Lily Collins:

This stunner went for a blooming black velvet gown from Tamara Ralph which featured floral sleeves. To wrap up the whole look, she styled her outfit with Cartier jewellery and black platform shoes.
Lashana Lynch:

Another favourite look of mine at the BAFTA red-carpet, Miss Lynch had jaws dropping in her custom Prada floor length cardigan which came in a red hue and featured swirly crystal embroidery that was complimented by a light blue poplin shirt with silver eyelets paired with midnight-blue silk shorts. She accessorised with a Bulgari watch and crystal sandals.
