Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that following his performance in the pre-season games, he has decided to stop Armando Borja from leaving Chelsea this summer. Borja, who has just returned to home club Chelsea after his loan deal with Southampton in the Premier League expired. Many teams are already courting Borja, but Tuchel doesn’t seem to be letting Borja go.
“I don’t expect Armando to leave. We know offers and interests,” Tuchel was quoted as saying by Nizaar Kinsella of the Evening Standard.
“We will make this decision together with the owner and the player.”
“When he was here I knew he was trying to impress and become a Chelsea player as quickly as possible.”
Tuchel has made it clear that Borja is not for sale, Borja, who has already started negotiations with West Ham, will not go anywhere as Tuchel will not sell him to any club.
