Nigerian social media critic, VeryDarkMan, has mocked actress Nkechi Blessing after an unflattering gym photo of her made its way online, describing the situation as “karma.”

Sharing his thoughts in a video posted on his Instagram page on Friday, he pledged to give half a million naira to the person behind the viral snapshot, recalling how Nkechi once attacked him publicly.

“I have ₦500,000 for the person that snapped Nkechi’s picture at the gym. In 2023, she called me an animal and said I lived in a rat house. Thank God I don’t live in a rat house anymore,” he said.

VeryDarkMan accused the actress of hypocrisy, stressing that she once shamed another woman by sharing her photo online.

“You were cursing the person that snapped the picture. Was it not you that posted the picture of a lady in 2023 and called her a walking infection? It is karma that is dealing with you,” he added.

“Stop hiding behind filters”

He went on to ridicule Nkechi Blessing’s social media persona, alleging that she disguises her real appearance with filters.

“If you have been showing the social media your real self, you will not be mad that someone took your picture. Nobody can take my picture and put it online. I always show my real self. You look like Beyoncé on social media with filter, but when the filter is gone, you look like you,” he remarked.

Concluding his video, VeryDarkMan called on the photographer to reach out to him privately to claim the promised ₦500,000 reward.
