The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike , has announced on the early hours Of Tuesday, 24th,May, 2022, in an announcement signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Kelvin Ebiri, the disbandment of the state executive council. He also relieved of their roles his chief of staff, Emeka Woke and Senior Special Assistant on Protocol, Harold Koko.
In the announcement, he gave no justification for this development, however he has lauded them for their assistance and input to the growth of the state and wished them well in their next ventures.
He instructed them to pass the baton to the most senior officers in their respective ministries.
