The animated series “Iyanu: “Child of Wonder” under Lion Forge Entertainment is an animated series based on the graphic novel created by Roye Okupe; a Nigerian. Lion Forge Entertainment, Alcon Sleeping Giant, and Nigerian music producer, Femi Agunbiade worked and co-wrote the theme song which will be sung by Yemi Alade.
Okupe who also doubles as an executive producer, who has been a fan of Yemi Alade for more than a decade almost literally fainted when he got to know that the diva would be featured in Iyanu.
“Iyanu” will also take to the screen in 2025 on Cartoon Network and Max in the United States and on Showmax in forty-four African nations. Iyanu is voiced by Serah Johnson while other other voice characters are Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Stella Damasus, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Shaffy Bello all of which are Africans.
