Gospel singer Yinka Ayefele has clarified that he is indeed the biological father of his triplets, countering widespread misconceptions. He noted that, although it is uncommon for individuals with spinal cord injuries to conceive children, he is one of the rare exceptions. Ayefele made this statement on the show ‘Curiosity Made Me Ask,’ hosted by content creator Bae U Barbie, where he explained that he impregnated his wife, resulting in the birth of their triplets.
“I’m shocked you said you have three beautiful and amazing kids. My question is, how did you do it?” the host asked. In his response, Ayefele said, “How did I do what? Curious that I impregnated my wife? How did I get three kids? You would have seen pregnant women before. I impregnated my wife and she got pregnant and had triplets.
“You thought I bought them? I don’t understand what you mean. I know you are curious, you want to talk about my spinal cord injury. Anybody who has a spinal cord injury might not be able to impregnate a lady. Yeah, it’s a fact, it’s one out of a hundred.”
Ayefele addressed the issue after a video of his interview went viral on Friday. The gospel singer has been forthcoming about his life since a car accident on December 12, 1997, which left him paralyzed and wheelchair-bound. Three years later, he married his girlfriend Temitope, and together they have four sons. Ayefele’s statement has dispelled any rumors about the paternity of his children, reaffirming his role as their biological father. His journey continues to inspire his fans, showcasing his resilience and commitment both as an artist and as a family man.
