At least 30,000 runners are reckoned to participate in the maiden Abuja International Marathon scheduled to hold April 29th with some of the country’s best runners competing,
Both Nigerian and foreign elite runners, together with students, will partake in the 5km, 10km, and full marathon races.
The race which will begin at City Gate and terminate at the Car Park behind the Eagles’ Square, is in three categories: the full marathon, the 10km race, and the 5km for students.
Thomas had also added that medical teams would be on the ground to monitor the exercise.
