Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu has revealed the reason behind his new form for Belgian pro league side, KRC Genk.
The player has bounced back, as he registered six goals in four games, pushing his club to the top of the Belgian League.
Onuachu struggled at the beginning of the season, as he failed to score any goal in his first six matches of the season, this was probably due to the injury he suffered during the preseason because he finished as Genk’s top goal scorer last season.
According to Onuachu, their recent success is due to collective teamwork, and they are at the top of the table as a result of their hard work. They intensified their efforts, the way their coach wanted.
He further said that his style of Playing hasn’t changed, and the goals are a result of his hard work in training.
“We pressed well. We played the way the coach wanted us to. we play. I’m very happy with this victory.”
“I haven’t changed the way I play. The goals keep coming and I keep working. These goals are the result of my hard work in training,” Onuachu concluded.
Onuachu bagged his second brace of the season after they thrashed KC 6-1 on Tuesday. Genk is to face Royal Antwerp on Sunday, October 23rd.
