A past governor of Akwa Ibom State, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has revealed that he is assured that the number of lawmakers supporting his ambition to be the President of the 10th Senate would increase to 86 persons by June.
Akpabio, who presently has the backing of the ruling All Progressives Congress for the senatorial seat, revealed this titbit when he led some lawmakers to go on a courtesy visit to the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, May 14.
Meanwhile, Sanwo-Olu welcomed the lawmakers to Lagos, urging them to ensure that the 10th Senate partners effectively with the incoming administration.
