Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder won their 14th straight game, beating the New York Knicks, 117-107, on Friday. The Thunder tied their franchise record set in the 1995-96 season, when they were still known as the Seattle SuperSonics, while ending the Knicks’ nine-game winning streak.

Jalen Williams finished with 20 points, and Aaron Wiggins added 19 off the bench as Thunder reserves outscored New York’s bench 35-5. After trailing 66-54 at halftime, Oklahoma City mounted a comeback by outscoring Golden State, 8-0 in the fourth. Wiggins added a clutch three-pointer that sealed the victory.

Meanwhile, Victor Wembanyama shone for the San Antonio Spurs in an exhilarating 113-110 victory against Denver, where he recorded 35 points, 18 rebounds and four assists. He also made a key steal late that set up Devin Vassell’s game-sealing dunk.

In other games, Cleveland won its ninth straight, 134-122 over Dallas, and Boston won, too, 109-86 against Houston. Derrick White scored 23 points to lead the Celtics, who continued their early season success.
