Manchester City have signed Egypt international Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt for €70m (£59m), potentially rising with add-ons of £4m, to boost their attacking options. The forward has signed until 2029 and has taken the iconic number seven shirt.

Marmoush, 25, arrives at City in a busy January transfer window for the club which has also seen Brazilian defender Vitor Reis and Uzbekistan international Abdukodir Khusanov signed. In 17 Bundesliga games this season, the forward, who can play right across the front line, has been in scintillating form, with 15 goals and 10 assists.
