Renowned gospel singer Paul Nwokocha has broken his silence on the rumours surrounding his marriage, sharing an unfiltered statement in a viral video on his official YouTube channel.
Nwokocha stated that he has no regrets about ending his marriage, attributing his decision to his wife’s alleged “abominable acts.”
“If I marry today and find out that the wife I married is doing an abominable thing before God and before man, I will send you out of my house,” he asserted in the video, which was posted on Sunday.
The gospel singer made startling claims about his estranged wife, alleging that she had been sending nude photos and videos to other men.
He confronted critics questioning his decision to leave her, asking how they would respond to such a betrayal.
“I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody an apology for this,” he stated emphatically.
The video has sparked intense debate on social media, with netizens split over his public outburst and personal disclosures.

Meanwhile, Nwokocha’s current marital crisis adds to a history of controversial breakups.
According to ABNTV on Monday, he has ended his second marriage after just two years, with the bride’s family officially returning the bride price—a customary act that signifies the end of a union.
Nwokocha tied the knot with his second wife, Goodness Nwokocha, in September 2023, less than a month after separating from his first wife, Alice Nwokocha.
His split from Alice was reportedly due to what he termed “maltreatment,” alleging that she refused to serve him food.
The singer has previously stated his belief that marriage should be “for better, for better,” diverging from the traditional “for better, for worse” vow.
A family source, requesting anonymity, revealed that Goodness’s marriage to Nwokocha faced challenges from the beginning.
According to ABNTV on Saturday, she allegedly faced mistreatment in her new home, being treated more like a housemaid than a wife.
The source also claimed that Goodness had no romantic relationship with Nwokocha before their marriage.
At the request of his uncles, she left Lagos to join him without verifying his background.
