Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has finally arrived at the Ogun State Police Command. His surrender comes after weeks of evading arrest and making headlines with his erratic behavior. The singer, known for his chaotic lifestyle, was declared wanted for assaulting officials of the Ogun State Town Planning Agency during an enforcement operation at his property in Ilogbo.

The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed Portable’s arrival in a statement on Wednesday. According to her, “The Ogun State Police Command wishes to inform the public that Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, arrived at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta, at exactly 13:23 hours today, February 19, 2025.” She further assured that due process would be followed in the investigation, and updates would be provided as necessary.

Portable’s Police Troubles: A Long List of Controversies

Portable’s legal troubles did not start today. Since rising to fame, the singer has been at the center of numerous controversies, from public fights to police cases. His latest issue stems from his violent attack on town planning officials who were simply carrying out their duties. The singer, in his usual dramatic fashion, initially refused to surrender, making bizarre claims and engaging in online rants.

From claiming that he was undergoing treatment for mental illness to begging and pleading with authorities, Portable has done everything possible to evade justice. Some observers even speculate whether he was under the influence of cheap drugs when he carried out his latest stunt. But the law has finally caught up with him, and now he must answer for his actions.

Portable’s Career: From Rising Star to Constant Trouble

Portable came into the limelight with his hit song “Zazoo Zeh,” but instead of focusing on his music career, he has spent more time making headlines for all the wrong reasons. From public altercations with fellow artists to clashes with law enforcement, the singer has built a reputation as a troublemaker. Many in the industry have criticized his behavior, questioning whether he is deliberately sabotaging his career.

His arrest comes as no surprise to those who have followed his antics over the years. Fans and critics alike have expressed mixed reactions, with some calling for him to face the full wrath of the law while others believe he needs professional help.

What’s Next for Portable?

With Portable now in police custody, the big question remains: what next? The Ogun State Police Command has assured the public that justice will take its course, and many are eager to see how this saga unfolds.
