Ahmed Ololade, a Nigerian hip-hop artist better known by his stage name Asake, has made amends with his father, Fatai Odunsi.
In addition, Asake has pledged to pay for his medical bills and purchase a house for him.
This occurs just days after Mr. Odunsi claimed the musician had abandoned him since his health began to deteriorate in 2022.
He did, however, reveal that Asake has now contacted him in a fresh video released on Sunday.
Speaking in Yoruba, Odunsi said: “His mother ought to ask him when last he saw me.
“That was what got me angry, but we have sorted all the problems. We are no longer fighting.”
He went on to say, “Asake said he will do everything that I want. We have settled, no more problems.
“They are now looking for a new house that he will buy for me. He has settled everything.”
Asake has also consented to assume all care for Zeenat, his daughter, who is eleven years old.
Odunsi added: “He has never denied his child, but he has now promised to take full responsibility for the child.”
