The brand-new award unveiled by FIFA President Gianni Infantino is meant to recognize individuals who have taken “exceptional and extraordinary actions for peace” and have contributed to uniting the people worldwide.
It was generally anticipated that Trump, who came with Infantino and has lately made several appearances with him, would be the first one to receive the inaugural award. Shortly before heading out to the stage, he was handed a golden trophy, medal, and certificate, and later on, during his speech, he asserted that numerous global conflicts were averted by his diplomatic efforts.
