Nicki Minaj has a lot to say about the midterm election results, and her support for President Donald Trump is stronger than ever.
Following the midterms on November 3, when Democrats regained control of the House and Senate, Minaj expressed continued support for Trump through a series of social media posts. She addressed the election results, congratulated specific Republican winners, and praised Vice President JD Vance.
The 15-Point Post
In total, Minaj had 15 things to say after Democrats won back Congress. She put Trump first.
She shared a “Couple things” she wanted to remind her followers of with an extensive numeric list. “1. Trump is STILL your PRESIDENT. 2. The QUEEN is STILL your OBSESSION. 3. Jesus is STILL LORD. 4. Great insight by the VICE PRESIDENT. 5. Knowledge is POWER. 6. Congratulations to all winners! Especially @RepLuna & @ByronDonalds. 7. Blowing a billion on a losing campaign full of celebrities is STILL hurting them,” Minaj wrote.
“8. The BARBZ are STILL PRETTY!!! 9. I don’t vote, I VETO. 10. Stay tuned & STAY MAD,” she continued. “11. Christians are STILL being killed. 12. Maybe now our people will WAKE UP. 13. Love you.”

The Winners She Congratulated
Minaj congratulated the winners, singling out two Florida Republicans. Rep. Anna Paulina Luna won reelection in the 13th Congressional District, and Rep. Byron Donalds defeated Democrat David Jolly to become the state’s first Black governor.
Minaj also praised Vice President JD Vance for his take on the midterm election results, in which he claimed the “real reason” the Republican Party lost was because of the Iran war.
In a second post that evening, Minaj shared two more points, including a reminder that her followers were still posting on Elon Musk’s platform. “Elon is STILL a trillionaire and you are STILL posting on his app. I’m sure the shareholders appreciate the dialogue,” she wrote. She also credited Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot, with improving her life and called it a “phenomenal product.”
Her Political Evolution
Weeks before the election, Minaj urged her fans, known as the Barbz, to check their states’ voter registration deadlines. “Your voice is needed now more than ever,” she wrote October 6.
Minaj, who moved to the US from Trinidad and Tobago as a child, said in January that she was finalizing her citizenship paperwork. As of her voting eligibility, she had yet to publicly confirm becoming a US citizen. US citizenship is required to vote in federal elections.
On October 25, Minaj flew with Trump aboard Air Force One to a campaign rally in Port Huron, Michigan. Trump asked Minaj to stand after complimenting her backside. Later, she led the crowd in a chant of “We love Trump.”
The Bottom Line
Nicki Minaj has reaffirmed her support for President Trump after Democrats retook Congress in the midterms. In a 15-point social media post, she congratulated Republican winners including Byron Donalds and Anna Paulina Luna, praised JD Vance, and told her critics to “stay mad.” Minaj campaigned with Trump in Michigan days before the election.
