Prince Odi Okogie, the husband of popular Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson, has won the House of rep ticket under the All Progressive Congress.
He contested for the House of reps candidate position for the Esan North East/South East Federal Constituency in Edo State.
In a post on Instagram, he thanked his family, and friends well-wishers for supporting him and allowing him to serve his people.
He also said that in the next few days, he would be embarking on serious campaigns throughout his constituency, meeting stakeholders, voters, and leaders to discuss how he would be bringing the needed growth and development to the people of Esan.
He also added that there is a lot of work to be done in the constituency and he expects everyone to contribute to making this dream come true.
His wife, Mercy Johnson has also taken to Instagram to congratulate her husband. She called him a good man and the man of the people.
