Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie is still in custody at Suleja prison, even after reportedly fulfilling the conditions of her bail.
The Federal High Court in Abuja had granted her bail on Friday, set at N5 million with one surety of the same amount, who must be a level 13 civil servant. Her bail was secured following the efforts of activists, including Omoyele Sowore, Mama Pee, actor Stanley Ontop, and Randy Peter.
Despite meeting all requirements, Angela has not yet been released, sparking debate and concern on social media.

Addressing the delay, Stanley Ontop explained on his Instagram story that her bail processing was completed late on Friday. He reassured the public that her release is imminent.
“Angela Okorie’s bail application has been processed, but after we had finished the processing, time has passed. So she will be out of Suleja prison by Monday. We have met all her bail conditions; we await Monday for her release,” he wrote.
This development has drawn attention to procedural delays in the judicial system, leaving many followers eagerly awaiting the actress’s freedom.
