Reality TV star and entrepreneur Mercy Eke has added another academic milestone to her achievements, earning a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Sunderland in the United Kingdom.
The former Big Brother Naija housemate had announced her decision to return to school in March last year, describing the move as part of her personal growth journey.
“Chasing my dreams, done playing, back to reality Started my MBA last year and I’m super excited for this journey. Here’s to new experiences, learning, and leveling up,” she had said at the time.
On Wednesday, Eke shared the good news with fans via TikTok, posting a video of herself dressed in her graduation gown and mortarboard. She accompanied the clip with a short but grateful caption, “thankful”.
Mercy Eke first rose to prominence after winning the BBNaija reality show in October 2019. Prior to her UK academic pursuit, she earned her first degree from Imo State University in 2014.
Beyond reality television, Eke has built a presence in Nollywood. She made her acting debut in Fate of Alakada in 2020 and later appeared in the popular Netflix series Shanty Town. In 2023, she returned to the BBNaija house for the All-Stars edition, where she finished as the first runner-up.
The businesswoman is also known for her flamboyant lifestyle. In February 2025, she made headlines after acquiring a Lamborghini, which she fondly described as “my newest pet”.
