Boxing great Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao are set for a big rematch this September at the Sphere in Las Vegas, and Netflix has confirmed that the fight will stream live worldwide on September 19.
The fight brings back their 2015 match, known as the “Fight of the Century,” which made the most money ever in boxing history. That clash pulled 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and brought in over $600 million in revenue, with Mayweather reportedly taking home $300 million after winning by unanimous decision.
Mayweather, who is 48, retired back in 2017 with an undefeated 50-0 record, but he’s taken part in exhibition fights since then. Pacquiao, 47, took a break from boxing in 2021 to get involved in politics in the Philippines, then came back to the ring last year.

Pacquiao said, “Fans have waited long enough; they deserve this rematch.” Meanwhile, Mayweather was confident the result would stay the same.
The fight will be the first pro boxing match at the new Sphere, showing how Netflix is stepping into live sports as it moves beyond just regular entertainment.
