Cristiano Ronaldo has gone to Spain to get specialist treatment for a hamstring injury he got while playing for Al Nassr. This has raised doubts about whether he’ll be able to play in the next few weeks.
Al Nassr manager Jorge Jesus said that the medical tests showed the injury is worse than they first thought. Cristiano had to leave the last match because of a muscle injury. After doing more tests, it turned out to be worse than we expected, Jesus said, adding that the forward will need some time to rest and recover.

The 41-year-old is said to have worked with his personal physiotherapist in Spain as part of his rehab. Reports say Ronaldo might be out for around four weeks while he gets better.
Ronaldo got injured during the Al Nassr game against Al Fayha and was clearly in pain as he left the field. The Portuguese star has scored 21 goals this season and is still an important part of the club’s chase for the Saudi Pro League title.
Al Nassr is currently in second place in the standings, just a step behind Al Ahli. Ronaldo will hope to get back in time to play for the Portugal national football team in the international friendlies coming up later this month.
