In an interview with Spanish Radio Marca, former Chelsea player Marc Cucurella stated he would like to be reunited with his friend and colleague Enzo Fernández after his recent arrival in the Spanish capital.
“Enzo is a wonderful player and a friend of mine. He congratulated me for my transfer,” the ex-Getafe and Barcelona player confessed, adding: “Let’s see if it happens, I’d be very happy to see him arrive.”
As is known, Jose Mourinho, upon his arrival in the white house, is considering various new signings in various areas of the field, but if he looks for an addition to midfield, Fernández could be an excellent candidate.

“When a coach like Mourinho calls you, it makes you feel important and proud,” admitted Cucurella on his decision to change teams. “I am very eager to work with him.” He also spoke about what it could mean to link up with compatriot Vinícius, with whom he has had a pleasant relationship at a personal level since his spell at the Premier League club:
“It doesn’t bother me at all to do dirty work if it can keep him fresh and important to play games.”
