Chelsea have solved their shirt sponsor issues by agreeing to a one-year deal with financial technology company Circle. As per their agreement, American company Circle will have the logo of their USDC stablecoin featured on all Chelsea shirts.
The logo will adorn the shirts of both the men’s and women’s teams, along with academy kits across all competitions.
The value of the partnership is not known yet, but sources said that Chelsea had been expecting £50-60m for a principal shirt partner. With an option for extension, this deal could give the Blues their first long-term shirt partner since 2022, when the Todd Boehly-Clearlake consortium purchased the club.

This comes after a series of short-term partnerships following the end of their sponsorship deal with Three in 2023. These included deals with Infinite Athlete, Damac Properties and Industrial AI firm IFS.
Blues president and COO, Jason Gannon, stated that the partnership showed the common pursuit of innovation and focus on the future.
“This partnership with Circle positions Chelsea at the forefront of football’s digital evolution,” said Gannon. USDC, the stablecoin issued by Circle, is pegged to the US dollar and uses blockchain technology to facilitate transactions. For a fan, a significant challenge may arise because the club took years to acquire this type of partnership.
Their next fixture is on Sunday, when Brighton come to visit.
